My Favorite Edge

In response to the "coolest" Edge comment from my last post I have this to reply:

I personally like the current Edge. He hasn't really changed much in the past 10 years. I think he has found his niche in T-Shirts and Tukes.
He's a cute little Irish man, and out of the 4 guys of U2 he is my favorite. Back in 1997 I got in a fight at the PopMart tour because a stupid woman got between me and my Edge. There I was 5'2" maybe 130 lbs doing my best to whomp the tar out of this stupid woman who was bigger then me. . . I had to be held back by my much larger older brother so I didn't kill the lady, but I got in a goot kick or 2. :)
My Uncle Roger in past years has reminded me of the Edge at times, but recently I have found that he now reminds me of my cousin Luke... Kind of cute and funny with his own personality.

Yeah, I like the Edge.

Besides, I've decided that he must be related to me - after all, his name is Dave Evans.

The Edge
Rock musician

Speaking to the Berklee College of Music, Boston Class of 2007

"The thing I want to say is: Collaborate.

Collaborating with talented people is not easy, but it's the way to really shine - you shine brighter if you are working with really great people. The important thing in the end is not that you are proved right every time; the important thing is that the music is the best that it can be. I want to wish you all that you would find your own voice. But if you are so disposed that you would find collaborators to work with, that you would shine as you could never shine on your own."

Thanks for you thoughts......Ipersonally liked the "vagrant" edge from back in the joshua tree days.

There are rumors that there is a favorite Edge poll coming soon.
