I have been thinking lately that I have been rather reclusive and I have shut out a lot of my friends because I haven't felt like being sociable to anyone... well, that has been perpetuated for almost six years now, and it's time to take a step out of my comfort zone and become reacquainted with the women in my life whom I love and miss and often wish that I could spend more time with.
I have decided that I need to have a "girls night" once a month with my girly friends where we can go to a movie or to dinner or something so I can hang out with other people and expand my social circle. This will also gives others an opportunity to get away from husbands and children and/or the mundane loneliness of single life and to make some new friends.
I need "girl time".
All are invited, unless of course you are a man, then you are not invited. If you live out of state and are in town for girls night give me a call...
My Rules for Girls Night:
1) I MUST go out once a month, if you can't join me every month then plan on the next month, or whenever you can come. But I sure hope I'm not going out alone every month.
2) I haven't decided if you are allowed to bring a friend or not. This is my girls night, and I don't want to be put in the uncomfortable situation of having to meet a new person. (this rule may change one day.)
Do you think that this would be a good idea?
Who is up for it?
What night(s) would be best for you?
Please Respond. Email me, or just comment.
Awesome idea! I would love to do that! I too find myself in my ratty hoodie and pj pants watching reruns of Cold Case, being a bit of a hermit. I have wanted to do a girls night, but didn't know what to do. The cool thing is, it doesn't have to be something super expensive either! Just going to the dollar movie and a relatively inexpensive dinner would be fun! Just tell me the date and I'll be there!
ReplyDeleteI wanna come! You could always fly out to Dallas and we could party here! Cowboy hats and all!
